Enrolling at Enoggera State School is a simple process, with priority given to families who live within our catchment area.

In-Catchment Enrolments
Families living in our catchment area are encouraged to begin the enrolment process by:
Completing the Application for Enrolment form for each child.
Providing proof of residency (see below).
Presenting an original birth certificate or passport (to be sighted at the school).
Proof of Residency
Home owners:
- Contract of sale and/or
- Current Brisbane City Council rates notice
- Current electricity or water account showing your name and address
Lease holders:
- Lease agreement (minimum 3 months from your child’s start date)
- Current electricity or water account showing your name and address
Once received, our administration team will confirm your documents and contact you regarding the next steps, which typically include an enrolment interview and opportunities to participate in school tours or transition events.
For Prep enrolments, information will be sent out from late June, with activities and interviews starting from Term 3.

Out-of-Catchment Enrolments
We are currently at capacity and unable to accept out-of-catchment enrolments at this time.
However, you are welcome to submit an Expression of Interest form , which will be kept on file. Should places become available, we will contact families in Term 4.
What to Bring
When submitting your application, please ensure you include:
- Completed enrolment form
- Proof of residency (as outlined above)
- Original birth certificate or passport
- Any relevant medical or legal documents (e.g. court orders, diagnosis reports)
Transition and Orientation
To support a smooth transition into our school—particularly for new Prep students—we offer orientation programs from Term 3, including classroom visits, parent info sessions, and school tours.
Keeping Your Details Up to Date
If your child’s details change—such as their name, address, or parent/carer contact information—please let us know as soon as possible. Keeping our records accurate helps us to stay in touch and provide the right support for your family.

All enrolment information is stored securely in line with departmental policies. We follow strict privacy and confidentiality procedures to protect your personal information, both at the school and within Education Queensland systems.
