The YMCA of Brisbane commenced management of the Enoggera service in 2001. YMCA Enoggera OSHC is situated in D Block of Enoggera SS. Our room is located at the front of the school within the same block as Administration.
The Enoggera OSHC staff team is comprised of a permanent Coordinator – Nikki Dixon, with a number of dedicated casual Assistants. We strive to maintain our continuity within the team and always make sure we have suitably qualified educators employed at our service.
All staff hold a current Blue Card, First Aid and CPR Certificates. Most team members hold or are studying towards a childcare, education or sport and recreation qualification. All staff have participated in the YMCA of Brisbane's Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy training and undergo annual refreshers and training to ensure their knowledge and practices are at the highest possible standard.
YMCA OSHC staff understand the need to be caring and professional at all times while maintaining a sense of fun and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all involved in our OSHC service.
National Quality Framework
YMCA Enoggera OSHC has been rated 'Meeting the National Quality Standard'
The National Quality Standard (NQS) sets a high national benchmark for early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services in Australia.
The NQS includes 7 quality areas that are important outcomes for children. These include:

Services are assessed and rated by their regulatory authority against the NQS, and given a rating for each of the 7 quality areas and an overall rating based on these results.
Our program is based around week to week themes and important events throughout the year, our staff work in collaboration with our children to build and create a program based around our children's interests.
Activities are organised for inside and outside play each day, we also offer a Homework Club each afternoon to assist children with their homework and help children to attend any Extra Curricular Activities through the morning and afternoon (please contact the school for further information regarding these activities).
