Tuckshop mission statement
The tuckshop will provide an economically viable holistic food service that encourages our children to choose a healthy diet.
Standards
Our tuckshop meets Government Healthy Eating Guidelines. The emphasis is on providing more healthy choices for our students. The tuckshop is a member of The Queensland Association of School Tuckshops (QAST). From these organisations we receive a wealth of information about nutrition and also how to apply good nutrition principles in school tuckshops. The products that we stock are chosen carefully considering their nutritional value.
Opening hours
The tuckshop is open on Wednesdays and Fridays for both first and second breaks.
Menu
A tuckshop menu will be sent home
at the beginning of each new term. If you have any ideas for new menu items,
please do not hesitate to contact us. There is also a copy of the tuckshop
menu available on this website under Related Links.
Ordering
Our Tuckshop is cashless. Orders can be placed via The QKR! App before 8:30am. Orders can also be placed up to two weeks in advance.
For further information regarding QKR setup, please see Related Links.
Volunteers
The tuckshop is managed by a convenor and a small band of valuable volunteers.
The tuckshop cannot exist without its volunteer helpers. There are many ways that family and friends of our students or any other interested people can help at the tuckshop. We value and can make use of any time that you would be able to give us. At the beginning of the year there will be a notice sent home, requesting people considering volunteering to assist the work of the tuckshop.
