Enoggera State School – Student Wellbeing Officer
Enoggera State School is proud to introduce our Student Wellbeing Officer, supporting students, families and staff to feel safe, connected and ready to learn. The role is part of our ongoing commitment to creating a school environment where every child can thrive.
Our Student Wellbeing Officer works across the school community to provide social, emotional and wellbeing support. This includes one-to-one assistance for students, small-group activities focusing on skills such as self-regulation and friendship building, and guidance for families seeking connections to local services. The position is part of the school’s student services team and collaborates closely with teachers, leadership staff and specialist practitioners such as guidance officers, speech therapists and behavioural support professionals.
At Enoggera, the Wellbeing Officer also helps strengthen our school community through two much-loved weekly events. Each week, Breakfast Club offers students a welcoming and nourishing start to the day, supported by our dedicated school captains. To end the week on a positive note, the Friday lunchtime disco during second break brings students together to sing, dance and share a joyful moment with their peers
