Students at Enoggera State School have a weekly Music lesson where they are provided a sequential Music education that follows the Australian Curriculum.
Our Music teacher Ms Mariel Hopper incorporates Orff Schulwerk, an approach that focuses on learning Music concepts through practical experience utilising movement, play, singing and use of instruments.
As students move through the grades they will explore different instruments including Ukulele, Recorder, Xylophones and Percussion.
The Enoggera State School Choir is open to
all students, rehearses weekly, and performs at Community and school events.
The choir aims to provide an engaging and inclusive experience for young
singers by choosing modern repertoire that is fun to sing.
The Recorder club meets weekly and provides
students with an opportunity to develop their skills of reading Music and
playing in a group setting.
